This is just going to be a list. I am trying to stay up a little bit so the dog can be out of her cage. Poor thing was in it all day.
1) Which reminds me, not a big fan of being at work for 13+ hours.
2) I hate humid weather. Especially because I sweat like a pig lately.
3) I hate mosquitos. Though, I did just kill one, but too late - it still bit me.
4) I love Wendy's chicken nuggets - I couldn't resist on my way home from work (at 10:30pm).
5) Some people take things too personally, and I am not a big fan of dealing with their drama.
6) Seriously, why did you choose frozen chicken?

Baby, you can drive my car...
So, last week, I was driving home, and went over a railroad track. After that, I started hearing a knocking noise when I hit bumps. I finally got the car in today to get looked at, and it needed (overall) almost $1700 in repairs.
Needless to say, my decision is to go car shopping on Friday. Eric will be coming here to help me out. I'm fairly certain I know what I want, but it's a matter of finding it. We knew this was coming down the road sometime, so I'm not surprised. I am excited about getting a new car, but also just really anxious. It's just frustrating to have that happen and have to make a huge decision.
I was bad tonight, and brought home McDonald's for dinner. While my plate was sitting on the stove, my dog smelled it, ran into the kitchen, and went SPLAT! right into the oven. She hit the oven just as she was jumping up to try and smell the food more closely. So, she really ran into the oven with her stomach. It was really funny, cause she basically went flying into the oven. Silly doggie.
For the rest of the evening, I will be sitting in my chair, being lazy. It's 8pm and I'm ready for bed. (yawn)

"I never thought it was such a bad little tree..."
"I just don't understand Christmas, I guess. I like getting presents and sending Christmas cards and decorating trees and all that, but I'm still not happy. I always end up feeling depressed." - Charlie Brown
I'm fairly certain that Chuck got it right here. I really know of no other way to describe it than the above quote.
I've actually been quite uncharacteristic this week - I've baked cookies two nights in a row this week, and brought them into work. It's not like I was going to sit down and eat them all! I just felt compelled to bake, so that's what I did. I've had several people tell me I'm nesting. Sigh.
I'm not sure if it's just a combination of things right now, but I've had some trouble concentrating at work lately. My mind wanders elsewhere, and I just can't focus. In this respect, I just haven't done a whole lot. I know this - but it turned up in what I assume was supposed to be a joke toward the end of my day today. A co-worker of mine mused "Sometimes I wonder if you do any work." Ouch. I know that person probably meant it in a joking fashion, but man that statement ended up stinging. Even though I know I haven't been motivated at work, it still hurts when someone else comments on it. So, if anyone has some ideas for how to get me motivated at work again, please let me know.
It's just me and Dakota this week. I have grand plans to rearrange my apartment this weekend, throw out all the garbage, and do some reading. We'll see how productive I actually am.
