List for Animal Challenge

I think I've come up with a minimum list for the Animal Challenge.

1. The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein (finished)
2. Tell Me Where it Hurts by Nick Trout
3. Eldest by Christopher Paolini
4. Brisingr by Christopher Paolini (when it comes out in September!)
5. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (finished)
6. New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
7. The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst

I read #1 in early July and just finished #5 a couple of days ago. I am quite sure that I will be adding to this list or modifying. But, it's a start!

When I read your post the other day about the requirements for the animal book challenge and I read that one of them was that someone could change into an animal, Twilight was the first book I thought of. LOL. I am glad to know that I am not the only one out there I know that is reading it!! :)

Oh no - I picked it up when I saw that the kid who played Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was playing Edward...is that a dorky reason or what?

Interesting list! I have a copy of "Dogs of Babel" in my library if you want it. Great book! Kudos for not selecting the most obvious dog book in recent publishing history, "Marley and Me." There's also a very intense scene with a dog in Stephen King's "Duma Key," if you want to stretch the challenge.

And then there's always "Cujo."

Well, I've already read "Marley and Me" awhile ago. Though, it did make me cry.

I might take you up on the offer - I'm still trudging through "The Yiddish Policemen's Union".
